    • 8. I want to add a student to my subscription. How will that be billed?

We'll make a one-time, prorated charge to your credit card to cover your new student’s account for the remainder of the current billing period. As an example, suppose your subscription covers 1 student on a Basic Plan which costs £7 per user per month. You add a new student account 10 days into your billing period and there are 20 remaining days in the month. The per-day cost for each student is: £7 / 30, so we will make a one-time charge of £4.67 (£7 / 30 days * 20 days) to your account. Then every following month you will pay as normal £7 per student per month which will be billed at the beginning of your billing cycle.

    • 9. I archived the account of one of our students. How does that affect my subscription?

Each day we'll check for account deactivations on your account. When we find one (or more) we'll automatically set the deactivation date for those accounts at the end of billing cycle. And, of course, you won't be charged for any deactivated accounts during the next billing cycle. You can re-subscribe at any time and we will charge you as per usual (for more details see no How am I billed?) based on the amount of subscriptions you have.

    • 10. My credit card expired or was canceled. What do I do?

Please go to your admin panel, Account, Payment Details and add a new credit card.

    • 11. I no longer teach a student. How do I remove his subscription? Can I get a refund?

Subscription owners (teachers, parents, private tutors and others) can cancel student’s subscription. To remove a subscription go to Admin panel, Subscriptions, select student’s account and select to archive their subscription. Student’s subscription will remain active at its current level through the end of the billing period that you've already paid for. We do not offer refunds.

    • 12. What happens to student’s data when I archive their account?

We will not delete any of student’s data so that if you would like to reinstate the account, they will have a full history.

    • 13. Can I permanently delete student’s data?

Yes, you will have to archive student’s account first and then will have an option to delete the account permanently. Student’s data will be not retrievable.

    • 14. We can't pay by credit card. Can you invoice my company?

We can invoice large groups who subscribe for more than 10 students. Contact us at help@brightleap.com to arrange this.

    • 15. How to cancel my subscription during the Free Trial?

You are only charged for the active student subscriptions. To cancel them during your Free Trial period please log in to your Admin dashboard, go to Subscriptions and click ‘Edit’ on student’s account. Once you cancelled your student’s subscription your account will not be charged. Admin dashboard > Subscriptions > Edit > Cancel Subscription Please note you will still be able to login to your account and add new students at any time. You will not be charged for 0 students.
